| Instructions on what to do Students are divided into teams. Teams will look at the illustrations on the left and match them to the brief description on the right using arrows. Teams will then look at the table of materials and fill in advantages and disadvantages of each. |

| Reflection Questions Why do we need a bin? What shape should a bin be? What should a bin look like? How should waste be put in and taken out? Look at the piles of waste sorted at the beginning of the lesson. Which materials should be collected and sorted for recycling? Which materials would be suitable for the bin? |
