Walking to work this morning on a slightly different route from normal, I realised that there is a thinly disguised Nanogyte centre of operations in Wardour Street. Check out http://www.nanobytebar.com/map.html.
I am not sure whether to suggest a visit armed with 'dust' next time the writers meet - or if we should keep clear. Angela |

Shift happens available on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QeoKQbT8BKs is a very powerful way to contexualise the changes that need to happen in education in order to enable pupils to develop the skills they will need for a very challenging future. My colleagues and I have used this to launch the new curriculum and it has had a powerful impact on teachers mindsets. What do you think?

A child or young person can use a given robot to achieve learning in a variety of subjects through a range of educational tasks. A child or young person can build a robot that someone else has designed and programme it to perform useful functions. A child or young person can design and make a robot for their own purposes and programme it to meet these purposes. And of course pupils can carry out each of these three sorts of activity across all key stages. And not just STEM – David Levy ahs written a book “Love + Sex with Robots – (The evolution of human-robot relationships – not quite so catchy) so some down and dirty PSHE as well. Hi,
When we decided to create our project as a Wiki we were faced with the problem of the resources maintaining integity. Do you have any ideas *how we could manage the project area of the Wiki (not yet developed) *how permissions should be used *what the project area should look like etc Steve |
